- May 12 2014: The poor economic downturn due to the sapping of petroleum resources in the Middle East and North America has cause most governments to fail. While Europe began to go into civil wars over what natural resources were left. The United States and Canada merged together to form the North America Imperialistic Federation (NAIF), this country ultimately began to dominate the world.

- Oct 31 2026: The NAIF has succeeded in taking over the European countries. At this point in them forms of socalisium run rampant in European from constant coups and struggles of power. The NAIF sees the other side of the world as a basic wasteland and policies it like a prison. In fact all of the NAIF’s political enemies are exiled to former soviet bases all thought the former eastern bloc.

- Jul 4 2032: After being in power for 18 years a new radical religious party infiltrates the NAIF and begins to assume key positions. This party is a Christian reform party and begins to bring religion into the NAIF. After a short time of 2 years the party has full control of the NAIF and renames it to the Christian Sovereign Republic (CSR).

- Nov 11 2035: The CSR begins to expel all other religions from it most namely pagan religions. After a short time all pagan politicians are removed from office and replaced by their Christian counterparts. Before long the government declares the pagans evil and sons of Satan. Radical terrorist groups form and begin to annilate the pagan threat either by conversion or by cold blooded murder. These groups are secretly funded by the CSR. Pagans go to higher courts only to be dismissed as evil disciples.

- Mar 5 2039: The pagans band together namely wiccans and create a counsel government in the former nation of Russia. The name there new government the Spiritual Nation of Peace (SNP). The CSR instantly see this as a threat and sends troops over to only be encountered by SNP defense forces. During the many confrontations there are over 100,000,000 lives lost.

- Sept 9 2040: The SNP scientists come up with a space installation earlier in the late 2030s and began to put into place over the past 9 months. It’s undetectable to CSR forces. Then began transporting people to these settlements. During this time the “Slaughter of the earth” happened or as known by the CSR forces “The spilling of satans blood” Well over 50,000 SNP civilians are killed by the CSR’s formidable Air forces. Many families are broken up and many children have been left orphaned

- Dec 24 2042: At this time the SNP has renamed itself to the Spiritual Space Nation (SSN) and began to develop weapons for its defense, namely the “Spiritual Technology” weapons class. The SSN attacks any CSR craft that attempt to attack its installations. In the following year the technology is created allowing “operators” to operate the organic/machine mechas named “dark spirits” or Geistschwarzes. These mechas also have an electronic brain and spirit that coexists with the operators during operation.

- Late 2060’s (present day) CSR has built is armies quite large and has stopped attacking the SSN. It is rumored that they CSR is trying to build a battle force from mechas like weapons like Geistschwarzes but has not succeeded. Further recon is unavailable.

Other important facts: The CSR headquarters is in Rome. All orders come from this area. The SSN’s main governing counsel is located on the main SSN installation named Genesis. So are the majority of the SSN’s space forces. Both sides are still in armed conflict but no major skirmishes have happened since the CSR encountered the Geistschwarze force.

Geistschwarzes – “dark spirits” or “blood demons” as dubbed by the CSR forces are organic mechas. Most of the Geistschwarze are covered with a light armor and most of their body is made up of organic muscles, with the exception of the “control area” were the operator lays down and is buckled in. They are then “hooked up” to the mechas via cable and an implant installed in the back of their brain making physical control not really necessary. Note, most operators have to go through “test” to make sure they have the ability to coexist with the spirit of the mecha or sentient during operation as all control is mental. Though there is a view screen in the control area. Most operators bond with their Geistschwarzes on a friend to friend basis as well as the sentient has a human form as most control and issues are handled from a mental plain.

SSN space force – This is the main defense for the SSN installations. Marjory the children of the previously generation they are very kind hearted and don’t like to fight but due to the terrorizements of the CSR are made to. Most of them operate the security around the bases within the installations and operate the defense grids around the installations. Very few are operators as not many posses the ability to coexist with the Geistschwarze spirits. Most want to return to earth were they remember there vague childhoods. For those who can remember … most of the new generation was born in space so they know nothing of the earth but feel a drawing to it

CSR Army/Navy/Air force/Space division: The young men and women of the CSR. Most have been raised in highly pagan-hating homes. Most don’t remember what happened as they were small children or not born. Buts till they fight for there worldly country with valor. Even though they wonder why the pagans can’t be left alone as they are in space. They do not question there superiors and still march on with the ideals of there forefathers.

Weapons:

Most fights occur between SNN space fighters and CSR anti personnel fighters. The geistschwarzes are used mostly in tight situations and fights where there are a limited number of SSN forces and reinforcements as the fire power of one geistschwarze is equal to that of around 5-10 regular fighters.

As for hand to hand or non space combat. That’s up to the character they can use melee or ranged weapons. Also both CSR and SSN officers (GI and LC2’s) get a sword upon their commission to officer status. Though very few use it as a sidearm even though they receive melee combat training when they join up. Though it is a required part of their dress uniform generally CSR officers holster theirs on their left side and SSN holster theirs along the small of their back horizontally.

Uniforms:

CSR: The enlisted tend to have simple uniform similar to most of the uniforms worn by most of the US armed services today in design. And they are a light red like burgundy color and use Eisenhower jackets or tunic jackets stopping just before the bottom of the torso.

Officers have the some color but they have closer to the design of a germen uniform in the fact that the jacket is long to the lower torso almost covering the rear and then a top weapons holster goes over it.

High level officers have longer jackets that cover the rear and then some stopping just over the middle of the thigh.

SSN: Enlisted here have a more relaxed look wearing garments of a dark green color. They have a jacket but it is more like a sport jacket or blazer with dress pants and a dark black stripe going down the outer side of the pants.

Officers have a sort of baggy military pants with long military boots but not combat boots. The jacket is really long covering the knees and coming to just before the shin. They have a belt they put of the jacket after fastening it shut that is a weapons holster.

High level officers have sot of returned to the old ways wearing pants though not visible and wearing a more traditional robe.


Other interesting things. Expect most SSN names to include “of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Spirit ” the 5 points of the pentacle as it has become common for parents to name their child in this fashion.

Bio: Lucretia has spent part of her life on earth before transferring to the space installation. Her father was killed in the massacre in the early 2040’s. She is really a kind person but has closed off all people since her father’s death. At 15 she joined the SSN defense force as was originally a security officer on one of the many gates around the installation.

She started taking her tests to become an operator when she was 17. Her results are still pending review by the counsel. She likes to listen to classical music in her spare time as well as modify her weapons. She is quiet and has a bitter distain for anyone with sympathy the CSR.

qurestion: Are the Geistschwarzes like mechs of mechwarrior but in an organic form?

Their space units but less like bipedal tanks closer to evangelions but different. Be save to say a semi cross between evas and gundams in the fact that the have organic muscles but there main skeleton is metal and has a structure similar to a gundam and the armor is more like suit that gets put onto them and it has Phase Shift ish abilites And they carry non energy/beam weapons like evas but also have the capability to carry them if need be.

Also the sentient is sort of like the soul of someone being in the core of the mech (eva) but more developed and not as faint as like a ghost. The operator actually talks with the sentient as if it were a person and it develops a human form to fit what the person thinks they should be. all control ofthe mech occurs on like a mental demension level.

It can be like the bridge of a ship or could be a medow somewhere and the person just thinks about what they want it to do. Its all subjective to the operator and the test that is mentioned is sort of a psychic test and the sentient has to have some sort of being based in the operators mind for it to work.

The sentient itself is like a ghost but not as it is electronic in origin and originally an AI program that is alloed to become somewhat self aware and human. It amkes it easier for the operators as human beings to communtcats with something is not so close to machine but having a personality.

Weapon: When not in a Geistschwarze Santoro walks with two secondary guns at his thighs, Santoro also has a close range combat training, he carries a combat knife at his waist and a small switch blade in his boot.

Bio: Santoro was born in Leon; Spain on the year of 2022, his childhood life consisted of many skirmishes between Socialist parties and the CSR. his father and mother were caught in a cross-fire between militants his mother was shot in the womb while she was pregnant and his father was paralysed. For awhile the doctors believed that Santoro was doomed to die because the bullet had gone through his mother womb and had almost hit his head it nicked him, he only came out with a scar on his cheek. Despite being catholic they fled to SSN troops in mercy when the “slaughter of the earth” began. Santoro and his family moved to the space station Genesis, for the first few years Santoro and his family were shunned as refugees and outcasts but when the Geistschwarzes plan was put forth Santoro was noticed by many masters and was soon asked to be part of the plan, when he accepted he was 17. They began training Santoro and a few selected others as the first Geistschwarzes unit. Santoro’s masters said he was blessed; he was extremely talented and showed promise as an operator. He was the oldest in his class. After being tested once Santoro passed as an operator and skilled combatant when he reached the age of 23. He named his Geistschwarzes ‘Emilia after his own mother who died before he had become an Operator Santoro now still lives on the Genesis space/command centre and is a trained veteran in Geistschwarzes operation. He lives with his ageing father. His mother died after a furious fight with cancer three yeas ago. Santoro always spent his time reading and meditating, he is a serious person but once in awhile he like to lighten up and have a laugh with his colleagues, he does not despise the CSR or the SSN he wants the world as it was before which is why he strives for the peace between the two powers.
He is a strong believer in the catholic religion and for many years he was picked on because of that, he only gained respect when he had to use his fists and aggressive strength on his bullies.

*sneaks in from a random forum check* That's fine, Its going to be stuck on OOC limbo for at least another 2 weeks due to others being tied up aswell . If you can get something in before the IC is started that's fine, if after that's fine too. If not at all I won't hold it aginst you and I don't think others will either. We all know how busy you can get.

And I also have to face the fact that it might also die in limbo. I want at least 5 charecters before I start an IC. I know I'm getting at least another person atm and I know Mike's been thinking about it too. So for right now I'm just gonna let it be and see if anything elese comes of it. Bio: Jessica is just like any other girl; she was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved around quite a bit with her father being in the military. She moved quite often until the age of 17 when she moved to Orange County, California. By then her father had retired and she enrolled in public schools prior to that she was home schooled. She and several friends at school started a band and were quite popular. Several years later they were contracted by the Christian Sovereign Republic Entertainment League (CSREL). Their band is known as Love’s Fool and they travel all over the world performing for CSR troops across the world. Jessica is the lead singer of the band and is a trend setter of young girls all across the nation. She has a whole army of groupies that might as well be clones that copy her excessively baggy clothes, countless bracelets and her overall out of this world style. The band is well loved by the CSR and no one would ever expect any of their members of being part of the SNN though there are numerous rumors about how Jessica or Shyam her stage name sometimes has a bit of a Russian accent. Jessica’s manager denies all rumors of Jessica’s mysterious accent saying the media will do anything to get a story and that Jessica is just a normal girl from Ohio who outside of traveling with the band has never been to Russia.

Bio: Joseph’s family originally comes from the former United States; they moved to Russia to flee from religious and social prosecution. Joseph him self had led a normal life up until the death of his elder family in the 2040 holocaust. Joseph did not escape unharmed, besides the emotional trauma suffered by many that day he suffered server retinal disfigurement which makes him dependent on sunglasses or shaded contacts. He joined the SSN miliary as soon as he was 14 and was place on the station for special training & duty. He never stepped down from a chance to take revenge on those responsible for the massacre; even if it required him do an assassination, or a ‘special assaults’. It was his efficiency that got him to the rank of Gowan Priest by age 18. He was tested and found to have the ‘ability’ at age 19, he was then placed into the original operator program. Do to ‘personal matters’ Joseph had to drop.

Currently he is the lead operator trainee for the next group and will soon go through the final step. Recently some have begun to judge his loyalty to the SSN, but after what he had been through no one can blame him.

Most find him to be withdrawn and with few words, his is like this most to people he doesn’t know. Once known people find out that he can actually be out going. He fights with what is left of his family, but this is mainly because he is protective of them.

Because he witnessed his father being burned alive in the 2040 massacre, he has a deep phobia of fire .

Appearance: Den Reichmann is world weary revolutionary, well known for his cold temperament and charisma. He wears baggy combats, a red shirt and a long sleeved black denim jacket which is designed to cover up to his lower chest leaving a red of his shirt exposed at his waste, he also wears a magazine harness over his jacket and a side arm on his right hip.
Country: Den Reichmann is English, he comes from Leeds, a city situated close to the pennines on the route of the M1, he is currently however based in Normandy, northern France fighting as a rebel.

Weapon: Den is armed with a HK 33KA2, a compact assault rifle which fires standard NATO 5.56mm. He also carries an old Colt .45 semiautomatic pistol and a long WW2 style stainless steal bayoneted.

Bio: Den was born and raised in a poor yet loving home in the city of Leeds, England. When his country began to be assimilated into the CSR he, like many other young people, fled to mainland Europe and joined what became known as the European Protection Force (EPF), a voluntary militia formed primarily by the French and German governments of atheists, agnostics and moderates who believe in separation of church and state to fight against CSR aggression. However when much of Europe was plunged into civil war by CSR and SSN coups and counter coups the militia split, taking their weapons with them, and began fighting a guerilla war against both sides and the factions within Europe they supported in small to medium sized cells. Den came to prominence when during an ambush of a military convoy; he managed to drag his injured commander to safety after he was hit in the chest by a stray bullet from enemy soldiers as they retreated. The Commander survived and for his actions he was promoted to Comrade 1st class and eventually given the position of squad leader when the cell (Known jokingly as the Anarchist Faction or AF due to most of the members being atheists) separated into four to prevent over enlargement.

Much of the old EPF has calved itself a small country to operate in and run at the expense of territories of various other states, this “Terrorist state” as it is known by the CRS, based in Normandy, France is known as the independent democratic state of Normandy, or IDSN for short.

Den himself is currently leading his five man troop in small scale ambush and sabotage campaigns around the Western German boarder. He is a heroic and well liked leader, if somewhat distant and cold at times.

Bio: Fudo’s a curious, quiet one for his size, stature and heritage. Though an officer of the CSR’s elite strike force, his skin and stature show some trace of oriental descent. Questions of his birthright have never been brought up as all records are clear of any corruption and he has served in the CSR E-SWAT, dealing with more pinpoint proficiency requiring storm missions such as kidnapping and assassination both internal as a security leak is not unheard of, or external as in dealing with SSN member abduction and/or assassination for several years.

When not in training, dry run or on an active mission, the speculation regarding Fudo really comes into play as he has been heard to chant something of a foreign tongue in personal quarters. Whenever asked of this, he explains it is praying to god through the bloodline of his family and tradition of his life before being part of CRS in Rome.

His inclusion to the ranks of Rome’s finest was unique in that it was one he applied to. Claiming to have lived in Rome his entire life, something the records vouched for, Fudo was well versed before application in tactical manoeuvres and unarmed combat. After two years of military training to finely sharpen the blades edge and assure them he was the prodigy he appeared to be, enlisted him for E-SWAT specialist operations. Many ancient books of tactitioners and philosophers line the shelves of his quarters alongside those of modern warfare and espionage. It was safe to say that even before his enlistment within CRS, Fudo was a knowledgeable man on surviving what the harsh world had become and Christ was blessed for delivering him to them in aid and not hostility.
