No mp3 requests.

The title says it all really.

This forum is for discussion of game and anime music. Threads asking about where to find or requesting specific tracks for leaching purposes are not welcome and will be removed on sight. If you are interested in purchasing Game and Anime music, by all means click the GameMusic.com banner under this and every other topic. They will usually have what you need and are very reliable.

We did have an mp3 request thread in this forum. (http://www.avalancheonline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=30) Though due to site bandwidth complications that has been taken down and though there are now once again mp3s on AO, they are of the administrator Edgar's personal preference, and no requests should be made in any of the forums for an mp3 posted here, or for links of where to find mp3s elsewhere.

Asked for permission for this and it was given green light:

MP3 requests are OPEN again, in a song x song share site upload manner that is. Note that full album requests are still a big no no for this website but no big harm done if you guys want to make requests on 1-3 music tracks from some albums.

Request are NOT for Edgar to put on the main website mind you, valid request will only be made for other users of the forums (in a polite manner of course), for them to host these tracks on any of the several file hosting websites out there these days of your favorite choice (ie: Megaupload, Rapidshare, mediafire, sendspace, etc, maybe even YouTube!).

For the moment this is allowed freely for you all to use at will, but as time goes on and depending on the usage there may be some rules changes among other stuff, just a reminder of that.

For now I see no harm done if people want to create new threads over and over just for different requests but keep it at a moderate level please, then again as I said before more rules will be detailed in the future.

SO IN SHORT:

- NO FULL ALBUM REQUESTS, only single tracks requests for now at least.
- REQUEST FOR OTHER FORUM USERS, not to Edgar/RpgVillains.com
- MAINLY VIDEOGAME/ANIME/MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS MAINLY PLEASE, tough 1-2 general music stuff shouldn't hurt.
