I love Ocremix. I shared it a long time ago, but I was afraid it was some type of advertisement. But I really think gamers here should give it a look. Ocremix is a community of music remixers that take a song from a game and remix it and release it. Sometimes the remix is a lot better than the original. To browse the songs, just find the 1st letter of the game's name at the top and click on it.
Voices of Lifestream is just one of their epic projects. They've done entire soundtracks for Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, Sonic the Hedgehog, Donkey Kong, and more that I can't remember off the top of my head.

One would think most remixes of classics like these would be relatively poor. This is an exception; they're quite good in fact.
Thanks Tycho.

They're amazing. A lot of these guys are actually pros too. They do these remixes as like a hobby or side thing. And when each remix is submitted, it is evaluated by a panel of judges who decide whether or not the remix is good enough to be released to the public.

I can certainly tell, the "Sons of Chaos (Shinra Company)" by Xaleph is, amoing others, amazing.

Some of them I really hated...but a lot of the others...were very nice indeed.
